If you want to develop high-level skills in Hairdressing, then our Level 6 Professional Hairdressing & Styling is ideal. You’ll gain professional-level experience and skills for the more demanding roles in this industry.

Working with our expert Hairdressing team, you’ll prepare for a range of advanced qualifications, including ITEC awards in Creative Design & Hairstyling, Trichology for Hairdressing and SEC Senior Trades Hairdressing. You will study advanced practical hairdressing techniques and science in a very practically focused environment.

The course is ideal for candidates who have completed the Level 5 hairdressing qualification and who want to further their career opportunities to senior stylist roles.

SEC Junior Trades in Hairdressing and QQI Level 5 Certificate in Hairdressing or equivalent

Senior Trades
City & Guilds Level 4 in Hair and Scalp Specialist Services 600/2198/6

Standard registration (see other awarding bodies section in costs, fees and finance) and SEC Hairdressing Senior Trades €100, City & Guilds Exam costs €250

Early Interview Option

Early interviews normally take place in May. Late applications take place in Aug and early September. An offer of a place does not guarantee a place – only full payment of fees will move an applicant to registered status. If an offer is not accepted in time and a course is full then applicants will be added to a waiting list and have the opportunity to apply for another course.
