If you are planning a career as a performer, composer, producer, manager, teacher or technician, our music course will meet your needs.
You will be supported to develop performance skills through specialist lessons for instrumental and ensemble performance in a range of different styles. The course will develop your theoretical understanding of music styles, composition and a detailed understanding of the music industry and music management.
Assessment is through a range of projects, including live performance events. We also have excellent progression links to music studies at Higher Education.

A minimum grade C at Leaving Certificate Music (or equivalent qualification), or equivalent standard of performance in addition to the standard entry requirements.

Early Interview Option
Apply before 29 April 2020 for the opportunity of an early interview, Early interviews normally take place in May.
Apply before August 2020 for a later interview. An offer of a place does not guarantee a place – only full payment of fees will move an applicant to registered status. If an offer is not accepted in time and a course is full then applicants will be added to a waiting list and have the opportunity to apply for another course.
