This course is for students who are interested in developing a career in the fast-paced industry of Make-up Artistry. All technical units build and equip you with skills to expand your creativity and artistic skills through specialist units, unique to becoming a make-up artist. You will develop a variety of Make-up techniques and hairstyling skill and you will gain knowledge of the specialist skills required for working in the Television, Film and Theatre industry.

QQI Level 5 Make-up Artistry or equivalent – See our Standard entry requirements for more information

City & Guilds Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Theatrical and Media Make-Up Techniques 5450-08

Standard registration (other awarding bodies),  see costs, fees and finance

Early Interview Option

Early interviews normally take place in May. Late applications take place in Aug and early September. An offer of a place does not guarantee a place – only full payment of fees will move an applicant to registered status. If an offer is not accepted in time and a course is full then applicants will be added to a waiting list and have the opportunity to apply for another course.
